The evaluation of the reasons of disturbances reports from Vogelcentral lubrication systems used in DMG machines has shown thaterrors can be caused by not filling the systems properly; fillingis done too late (too much air gets into the piping system); toomuch air is filled in together with the grease; the grease boxesare dirty, dirt gets inside the boxes; and not approved greases(not liquid enough) are used. Due to the difficult access to thegrease boxes mounted on the machines and because of dirt gettinginside when filling them, Zeller+Gmelin has developed a newapplicant-friendly plastic tube for refilling.
Divinol Lithogrease 00 and 000,the special greases approved for DMG machines, with identificationno. 27 078 178, can now be purchased in 1 kg plastic tubes withre-sealable screw tops. The tubes can be ordered at Neihoff ofIndia as follows: Divinol Lithogrease 00/000 (NLGI class 00 or 000)1 ltr tube with screw top, packing – 11 tubes in 1 box. When usingthese tubes, entry of air or dirt can almost completely beexcluded. The tubes can be stored without problems due to theirscrew top. Divinol Lithogrease 00 (NLGI class 00) is mixable withDivinol Lithogrease 000 (NLGI class 000). We recommend usingDivinol Lithogrease 000 also in old machines because of its higherliquidity.
